You can’t. Not really. What you can do is make it less easy, less convenient for the bastards to track you. Now that we’ve set realistic expectations, let us move on.
Kill the cookies with your browser
The cookies are something that you save, on your computer, via your browser. You can choose not to and here’s how.
Install Mozilla Firefox browser (the download page).
- Click the menu button
and select Settings.
- Select the Privacy & Security panel and select Strict.

Yes, this may break some sites. Yes, you may switch that option to Standard. Yes, that will open you up to tracking, to a degree. You want privacy or not? It’s your call.
Install an Adblocker browser extension
Install uBlock Origin Firefox extension (link to the download page). Don’t forget to check the “Allow this extension to run in Private Windows” option during the install.
You can click on it to “whitelist” a website you like (and disable the protection uBlock provides). That’s your call.

How to whitelist sites using AdBlocker
Use a (good) VPN
Install Windscribe VPN (my review – no affiliates) on your computer (and phone).
Don’t use the VPN your favourite YouTubers recommend in their videos! It sucks. Crappy and shady VPN providers pay tons of money for advertisement, but they cut the corners on privacy and security. Windscribe offers no affiliate program, so I don’t get a single breadcrumb for recommending it! The cunts think that’s so fair and noble that they even brag about it. Unfortunately, they do offer the best VPN, at a good price, so I can’t recommend any other. If I find a better alternative, I’ll make sure to recommend it (hopefully with an affiliate link).
An article that explains the SEO affiliate shills menace.
Don’t click on every link
Whether it’s an email, or a website link (“even” on Google search results), hover over it with your mouse, see what it looks like, use your brain.
You can even right-click on it, copy link address, and paste it to VirusTotal for a scan.
Get off from social networks
I mean it. If you want privacy, that is. The moment you log into your Gmail, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn etc, they know it’s you! No amount of cookie blocking, VPNs etc. can save your privacy then.
Don’t carry a camera and microphone wherever you go
That thing you carry in your pocket – called “smartphone.” It is smart all right, just not for you.
The irony of it is you pay more to get a new model with a better camera and… wait for it… face recognition! What could possibly go wrong, eh?
Don’t submit your every payment for tracking
Stop paying with cards. It’s all tracked, saved, and analyzed.
Pay in cash.
